Abstract:: Heritabilities, genetic v ariatio n coefficient s and genetic adva nces in five F2 po pulationsof three di fferent ty pes of cro ss combinations w ere analy sed. The result s show edthat these genetic parameters va ried signi fica nt ly di fferent amo ng the three cross combinations. The pa rameter v alues in the cross combinatio ns including w ild relativ es andg rea ter parent dif ference w ere high selection w ould be effectiv e in such crosses.Germplasms created f rom interspeci fic cross w o uld be used as main crossing parent s fo rhightening breeding level.
